Gudetamas are scattered across the island. We can collect them by taking a picture. This is the first batch of many selfies with the lazy egg!

Collecting Gudetamas is one of the ongoing side quests. We collect them by taking their pictures! Each egg is hidden somewhere in the island, and we get a gift for each milestone (e.g. collecting 100). They poof once the picture's taken. We cannot see the pictures in-game, but I saved all of mine 🐣

I have been out for months, and I have just seen the updates yesterday.

• We can check which places still have Gudetamas to collect. For my first 100, I scoured the whole island and the reefs 🤣
• The Gudetamas we have already collected can also be shown. They appear with a green checkmark. This setting means we can also retake their pictures. I decided to keep my old photos. I choose to focus on the present. I am learning to love my own journey.
• These days there are tophat Gudetamas that appear weekly. I think I was able to get three so far, but I no longer look for them intentionally. I see them when I see them. 🔎
