A gallery of my adventures with Sanrio friends! I started taking pictures because of the Gudetama quest. But as I explored Friendship Island, I took more photos with the other characters. I especially like the "photobooth" spots where you can invite friends to join you for a shoot.

Gaming Diary

I have known Hello Kitty since I was a child. We visited Sanrio stores and bought stationery, purses, or anything cute. But I was never a "fan". I appreciated the characters being kawaii and child-friendly, but I did not go any deeper than that. I also was not very fond of Kitty herself. I've always liked Badtz-Maru though!

Fast forward to my adult life. I saw a preview of the Hello Kitty Island Adventure game in Apple Arcade. The graphics looked inviting so I saved it to my watchlist. And then I forgot about it.

I was heavily stressed out in real life when I got notified that the game was already available for download. I am really grateful it came just at the right time. This game helped me relax. It was like going on a very-much needed vacation. It wasn't just the game's scenery, but it was also the encouraging words and overall positive vibes from the characters. 🥹

I am now in a new adventure in real life. I continue to play the game on-and-off. Sometimes to decompress, but most of the time, just to enjoy the quests. It's funny how the game kind of syncs with my real life. I believe this is one of God's ways of letting me know everything will be alright. I am so grateful. ♥️
