Cộng Cà Phê
31st of December. I randomly asked my family if they would like to go out. 🤣 Cộng Cà Phê, a popular coffee chain from Vietnam, opened its doors in SM Mall of Asia. Ate Gelai and I stopped by for a bit to try their coffee. ☕️
Second Cup of Coffee

- Vina-cappu. Vietnamese cappuccino for Ate Gelai
- Nâu kem muối. Iced brown coffee with salted cream for me. Recommended by the staff.
The coffee was not as strong as we thought it would be. I asked for "mild" because even the "mild" Vietnamese coffee I had in other cafes were strong. This one's truly mild. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our drinks. 👌
Subsidy Period
Sewing machines and other sewing materials were the main decors. According to their website, the founder, Linh Dung, incorporated materials, prints, and colors that evoke memories from Vietnam's subsidy period.

I wished we could stay for longer, but it was almost time for dinner so we had to leave.
Afternoon sun piercing the big glass windows, the bay just right outside, the trees and plants surrounding the coffee shop. Perfect for lazy days. If this place was more accessible to us, this cafe would probably be a part of our usual spots.
