Aeppol's Moments Wholly for Yourself Coloring Book

Sometimes it takes me months of contemplation whether to buy an art find or not. It was the case for this coloring book. I have seen it a couple of times on Amazon while looking for coloring books for Mama.

Sometimes it takes a very stressful moment for me to finally give in. I remembered getting hit right in the feels because of the title.. "Moments Wholly for Yourself". This book must be a way for me to detach.

Honestly, I have only used it a couple of times so far, always giving way to the "other stuff" I have to do. I thought of why I was not using it that much and one thing popped into mind: I do not have a palette big enough for all of the colors I want to use. Because I don't have that, I get lazy thinking of which colors to use, or if I should paint with only the colors I have already picked out last time. To solve this, I made another purchase a couple of hours ago for an artist's paletter good enough for 32 colors. I am hoping it's a good one! It has good reviews. 🙏 Next time I will post about the palette and hopefully, more pages completed.

The page warped a bit. It was hard to lift colors too. I will find the right balance. I just have to keep on going.
