Avocado Salad DIY 3D Scene
A friend shared a 3D sticker sets a few months back. Most of them were cube-shaped, depicting a room inside a house or in a shop. You could easily buy 2 or more and stack them together to form a grid.
I saw some available in Lazada. I bought the Avocado Salad to try it out. This was not a cube so no grid would ever be formed. But I liked this design the best; I didn't really care about the shape.
I thought I could build my own scene. However, some stickers were cut to specifically follow the original design. For example, the salad fork would be difficult to place somewhere else outside the cup because its prongs were not complete. I decided to go along with the original design instead. Maybe next time I can be more adventurous.
Layering. Following the original design, I took my Mama's advice to cut the sticker sheets so I could try positioning each part before sticking them onto the cardboard. I was able to work out the layers except for one. HAHA I placed the lettuce leaves and salad fork before I put the "Salad" tag. The tag's rope on the right side was not cut according to the shape of the leaves supposedly covering it. I had to peel the other stickers halfway through to place the rope beneath them. 😅

Mistakes were forgivable.
- The design on the cardboard had guides in the form of subtle lines and shadows. Those were easy to follow.
- Many of the stickers had almost complete parts. The cat behind the three avocado slices (top left) had a full body. There would not be a gap or a missing body part even if the avocado slices were not placed accurately.
- The cardboard's smooth texture made repositioning easier if needed.
This was harder than I thought it would be, but still a nice puzzle. I bought another one 🤣
