First time using Adilson Farias' watercolor brush packs. The artist provided easy tutorials on how to use his brushes and papers effectively. I also learned a few basic techniques on masking and smudging. Money well spent. 👌

I struggled with blending the colors. 😅 AF's instructions were to use multiply for all of the layers when using his brushes. This was to mimic how watercolor behaves on paper. I had to redo a lot of the color mixes until I followed that tip. The output was just different from adjusting the opacity of a "normal" layer. After a few trials, I decided to be faithful as much as possible to the colors in my photograph and to keep the brushes I use to a minimum. I also experimented using other brushes to create special effects, like water drips and blotches.
