Following The Ink Trail

Stamp Notebook
Travelers bring home different kinds of souvenirs. I usually go for snail-mailed postcards, coins from souvenir press machines, small teacups, bus/train cards, and the usual fridge magnets. I never thought of collecting stamps, like the ones featured in Rainbowholic's collector's passport. Her team collaborated with Nakamura Printing Co. Ltd to design the passport, and one of the sample uses is for eki (train station) stamps.
There are not a lot of stamp stations here in the Philippines, but Rainbowholic's post still inspired me to start a stamp notebook. At this point, I only had alphabet stamps for my journaling. π What would be a better follow-up than FullyBooked's "Ink Trail"?
Ink Trail
FullyBooked partnered with Common Room PH to design unique stamps that were scattered across twelve of their branches around the country. Only four of them were accessible to me and I only had energy for the two stores in BGC. But I got my first stamp from the MoA FullyBooked x Kinokuniya branch when my family decided to visit the mall. π The heavy rains and my overall lack of panic blocked my "planned" visits to the BGC branches in the following weeks. βοΈ

The Ink Trail event was coming to its end. I asked Mama if she would like to go on an adventure with me. π€£ We were able to collect the stamps from High Street and Mitsukoshi! βΊοΈ This Monday afternoon was the closest thing I could get to collecting eki stamps. For now. π
I thought the stamps would no longer be available once the event ended. I was wrong, only the contest would end πββοΈ Still another mini adventure with Mama added to my core memories. π
It will take me a long time to fill this Midori, but I am fine with that. Let's just say this would be a nice training for being patient.
