Grace's Cat Collection

My Mama casually collects cat-themed items, mostly figurines. Sharing her collection (so far) and some cat tales in our catlover family.

Lessons and injections. Our family had a white cat. All of her kittens were white as well.
At the time, my older brother was the only child in the family. He was young, and he tried to put one of the kittens to sit on his shoulder. The kitten got scared and scratched him. 🥲

When my grandma died, three cats came to our home.
Whiska, came right on the day of my her wake. She was thin, but eventually got very fat. She would lie on my Mama's lap when Mama slept in the rocking chair. This cat was always clean and had very smooth fur. She would get "mad" at us when we touched her fur right after she cleaned it. 😂
Mitchi (aka Ponkan) was an orange tabby that looked like Pikachu. She had a bent tail.. just like that pokemon. My uncle Raul took care of her and she also stayed in our home. A couple of times, Mama was very pleased because Mitchi decided to sleep on her lap.
This cat did not meow, so it was hard like when she got stuck inside an empty drum. She also cleaned the house regularly with her zoomies and when she squeezes in and out of the decorative niches in the wall.
Takao was a big and muscular male cat that frequented our house just to lay there in the afternoons, eat, and make funny meows.

We had other cats, unofficially. Hehe. Like Marbles, a cat with marble-like eyes. He stayed with us in the afternoons, but left in the evening.. to go home. Haha. His owner was chill with that "arrangement" though 😅

ParkCat was another memorable cat. She stayed at Ortigas Park and she was friendly to everyone. She would come up to us and brush her tail against our legs.
