Tiang Aning, as Mama called her, owned a collection of hotel matchboxes. These were flat cardboards that held a handful ot matchsticks, usually given to hotel guests. It was too dangerous for a hobby though. Mama looked for other things to collect when she saw a pen collection. She thought why not collect pencils instead? ✏️

This is my Mama's pencil collection.. so far. By the time I wrote this, a few more were added 😅 If you look closely, a handful of pencils are marked with names. These pencils were from different milestones in our lives.
