Ocha no Jikan Blind Box

This is "Ocha no Jikan" (Tea Time), one of the miniature tablewares from the Nakagawa Masahichi Shoten x Kenelephant blind box set.
Everything’s based on actual wares!
- The silver box contains rice crackers from Ishikawa
- The vermillion Echizen lacquerware from Shitsurindo
- The cast iron teapot from Oigen Foundry
The Japanese are proud of their craftsmanship, as they should be! Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten has a great guide showcasing crafts from different regions of Japan.
This one's a travel souvenir from a friend, Colleen. She didn't know I collect small teacups! It was a nice, fun surprise for both of us. ♥️
