2025 Patrons of The Arts - Aesthetics

@daisakagumi.ph very engaging booth. Tom and Jerry!

Despite my residence's short distance to Bayanihan Center, this was my first time to attend an art event in this venue. This was made possible by Robbie, my artist friend who invited me to join him in Patrons of The Arts - Aesthetics event. 👌

We had a fairly simple plan: eat ramen (stomach first), walk to the venue, visit the booths and, get coffee (stomach again and rest).

Snapped

Let me share some pictures I took from the event. I added a link for each artist I referenced so you could visit their page if you also like their stuff. To get a list of ALL the artists, check out Patrons of The Arts' socials.

Let's go!

@artcern's plushies

@makon.ig's 3D prints

@olivecubes's wrist pillows

@whimsyclaystudio's neon cat figures

Robbie had a process. Visit the booths twice. For the first round, we would just check out what the artists were offering and take a mental note of anything we would like to buy. On the second visit, we would buy the "essentials", the things that we truly wanted. If we were still unsure of some items, we could go back. Of course, that was if we had the energy and the money needed to do so. 😅

@pongcatzzs' cute and warm sticker flakes

@pongcatzzs' gacha charms

I may have spent an unhealthy amount of time at @kapalkilayyyy's booth. Robbie pointed out that it was not just "kamingko". All the other popular "healing" stuff were there huhu

Aesthetic Art Haul

These are the things that my heart just said yes to without any form of regret or remorse. Some I got for Mama's journals, some for my friends (yes, the "therapeutic" oils and balms). Also, I just got a new Midori soooooo hehe

  • Apple washi, Keroppi, cute desserts, and Kamingko + other stuff that do not have any therapeutic claims from @kapalkilayyyy
  • Dungeon meshi keychain frame from @artamiest
  • Shin chan, Miffy, and cute animal stickers from @pongcatzzs
  • Food and hobbies sticker sheets, sticker tapes, Decade Darlings, and a glittery washi tape from @itspixelanya

Short Coffee Break at Hakid

HAKID is a block away from Bayanihan Center. We stayed here for coffee. Robbie said we were doing things that we used to do a decade ago. So true. I wish Marc could have also come but maybe next time. It was fun! Until I tried using the Dungeon Meshi keychain frame! Either the frame or the food gout out of focus. It was still a good call that I didn't get the Frieren version intended for landscapes!

Other people who attended the event also came here. They played games. We moved on to the Kapitolyo Art Space.

My first time to try Dirty Horchata (their bestseller). It was super smooth and very fragrant 👌

Aww this is true. I had iced mocha here. It was not in the menu.

Maybe I can just use this on receipts or menus? I have to figure this out
