Spent the afternoon with Mama at Mitsukoshi, the Japanese mall that houses my favorite FullyBooked branch. ☺️ We saw this mobile coffee bar. It was from Key Coffee, a Japanese brand that has been around since 1920. 💪

I like taking pictures of similar scenes and now I paint them too. I don't know why I keep choosing to do detailed stuff. 🙂‍↔️ Why not illustrate our afternoon snack instead? 🥪 But I already laid out the first part of the lineart lol No turning back now.

Tools: Procreate • AF Brush Pack • VSCO

Did not deviate much from my go-to brushes and techniques. I did not use masking. This was not as detailed as the Comic Book Shop. I colored per section as neatly as possible and erased the ones that bled outside the lines.

I wanted to do the colored tiles background but felt that it would be too much already. 🙂‍↔️ You can see it in the 30-second timelapse. 😅

I had trouble using the different blending modes. I got varying results using the same settings. I also lost effects when merging. I should take some time to learn more on how to use these tools properly. 😅
